SCIS can integrate with your school's Library Management System (LMS), allowing you to download SCIS catalogue records directly into the catalogue. Accessing the records via the API means you do not need to use the z39.50 connection or manually download records from the SCIS website.
A SCIS Data subscription is required to access the SCIS API. Several library management systems (LMS) support the SCIS API. Please contact your LMS vendor if you are unsure whether this function is available in your system.
In order to setup your access to the SCIS API, you will need API credentials for your account. Please get in touch with our customer support team, who can provide this for you:

The API credentials can then be passed on to your LMS provider so they can set this up on your behalf.
