Writing for Connections is an excellent way to advocate for your library and share your ideas with colleagues around the world.

Content
Connections aims to support school library professionals in their endeavour to promote literacy and lifelong learning, and to raise the profile of libraries in schools. Our readership is school library professionals.
All articles go through an editorial process and an edited draft will be returned to the author for approval prior to publication.
Please note, Connections does not publish promotional articles; overtly promotional content will be omitted at the editor's discretion.
Word length
- One-page article: 650–750 words
- Two-page article: 1,400–1,500 words
Please note, we may accept articles outside of these word limits. Articles exceeding the word limit for the article's allocated space may be edited down.
Images
We recommend that authors submit relevant images with their Connections article. Cleared/permissible images are preferred, but the Connections team can organise permissions if time permits.
Please submit images as a separate file rather than embedded within the document.
Other requirements
Please submit with your article:
- a high-resolution headshot image (optional)
- your job title
- a contact email (optional).
