To send items for cataloguing, you first need to submit a cataloguing request in SCIS (see Sending resources to SCIS for cataloguing).
During the submission process, you will be given the option to physically send in your resources to SCIS cataloguers. If you decide to choose this option, a postage slip will be generated that will include the address to which you send your items. The address is auto-populated according to your customer data; however, you do have the option to select a different address during this process, should you wish to do so.

Queensland
The SCIS depot for delivery of physical items for cataloguing is the Queensland LOTE library (Brisbane School of Distance Education). Hours of opening for the Queensland LOTE Library (BSDE) are Monday through Friday 8am till 4 pm, school holidays 10am till 2pm, and closed Easter holidays.

The Queensland Languages library (BSDE) is easy to find and well-signposted. When you drive into the BSDE campus, turn first left and drive about 50m. The Languages library is on your left, and just across the road from a staff canteen. Park in one of the two car parks designated Languages Library - these are generally available. All you need to do is knock on the entrance door, and advise Library staff you are either dropping off SCIS cataloguing or collecting your items. When the cataloguing is completed, you will be notified that your items are available for collection.

If posting items for cataloguing, please use the PO Box address below. The cost of postage to and from the depot is met by the school, so it is a good idea to include a reply paid envelope with your items to ensure a quick return.

Then send your resources at no cost through the CEWA Ltd weekly courier system (operates routinely during Term time only) which will pick up from your school’s Reception each Friday morning. The first time CEWA Ltd schools send items to be catalogued, they should be packaged and labelled:
