Checking fields in a SCIS record

To view what you have downloaded for a particular SCIS record you can do the following:

1. Log into scisdata.com.
2. Search for the item on the SCIS catalogue. You have the option of viewing the record in both Record details view and the MARC record view.
3. Select the View MARC record tab. Here is where you can see exactly what has been downloaded from SCIS for that record, as well as which fields the data is placed in.

If the data is in SCIS, and not in your Library Management System, then this is related to how your system imports SCIS data, and you will need to check with your vendor for further advice.
